Life is a Savage Garden

welcome

Greetings to all the beautiful people around! Here are tales of a garden that just happens to be! Presenting the Chronicles of the South, where the stars and the moon dance their way through the Southern Hemisphere. And lines that may come to rhyme to be a poem...

Bright

This one is in sharp contrast with what i wrote some time back... I don't think i even like this one...O_o yes!

Walking down the road the other day,
I encountered life,
The one I often, oh, so often heard about,
But now I think I was better look towards the sky,
Squinted me eyes to adjust to the darkness that was emanating,
Life?
A question on my lips,
And all my mumblings were numbed,
And all my songs were lost,
As if nature could have me no more,
My humble prayers reached no ears no more,
Such was this life,
The clouds hid my love and no calling
no wailing could trick it back,
Oh such was the dust,
Oh such was the noise,
Senses, worldly and heavenly,
made meaningless and fled from me,
Hands turned to ice,
and I couldn't feel the caress of flowers,
Having never embraced, my heart couldn't get warm,
Couldn't get rid of this cold,
So cold was this life,

And the mind, a mess,
Sitting in a pool of mud of its own,
Stuck and battered by incomprehension
Striking from all sides,
What to expect from this thing just met,
...
It was trying to fly again,
But it was getting comfortable here,
The mind tried to look beyond and do the right,
It wouldn't
It got tangled,
In some kind of love,
For whom, for what, I still wonder,
There was no one to rescue from here,
The road was still waiting ahead,
But life wanted some directions,
And all I done was to float with the winds,
All I had to do was to sing,
and the Moon would appear,

What do I do of you life,
How do I transform you,
What made you so dark,
If I could I would,
take a little light from them all,
I met till I found you,
For I heard of something that hides inside
their hearts.
Something overwhelmingly bright.

And I managed to finish this stuff afterall!

This Land

And I thought the clouds were cruel,

I crossed the lines and saw the horizons vanishing,
As I left my land,
Went to meet the most cruel ones,
But vanquished them to move closer,
Closer to my dearest love,
My dearest Moon,
Alas, fate, damnest of all,
fate, poor you for, all of us, of us all,
No one really liked you
Fate was written in other ways,
By Gods, most probably,
For what I saw above clouds,
Was the shiniest of them all,
'Twas the ruler of them all,
Kronos welcomed me in his abode,
High up there, delight filled my whole,
My heart thankful, for in these troubled skies,
I had a friend of mine,
But when time came, I realised,
The real trouble was when I found land again,
My soul was guarded by mountains,
Fed by the constant flows of rivers,
Coloured by what made oceans blue,
But then I have been shunned,
Coz the horizons are not powerful here,
The skies barren,
For they cannot hold the mighty sun,
Maybe it is the sun that is playing cruelly with me.

Oh!

Oh Love!
You are so near that I see myself when i look at you.
Oh love! You shine so far away from me.
As I stand so far I breathe in your light.
A kind of sadness fills my heart,
A kind of pain in my veins.
For I cannot touch you, love.
Love! Be there Love!
In that sky, everytime I raise me eyes.

Foolish

Come look for me, my moon asks all the time.
And these eyes of mine, this foolish heart of mine, doesn't resist.
Day or night.
Looks up the road my Moon takes,
The heart knows no time and forgives no clouds.

See the people

I can see the smiles and even hear them laugh,
The noises they make,
So dear to them they get lost in it,
I can also see traces of love,
But as I open my eyes, lust is there too.
In the wind that carries word and songs,
I heard cries, muffled.
Almost incomprehensible,
I would sit down and look at their eyes.
Yes same.
Questions remain the same.
Oh what does the horizon hide.
But I have also seen the others,
Those who cry no more, and hide no more.
I can see the ideas moving inside their heads,
Colliding and collapsing.
What would they do if they had it all.
Oh these people of this tiny world!

Where you lie.

These are just moments.
They will pass.
But right now it is you that I want to miss,
You that I want to see when I close me eyes.
Called you my angel,
Called you my mountain,
So in this very moment, could you hide me under your wings,
Could I lay back on you,
Like the passing moments, I know you might not stay,
All I need is to hear your laugh,
And i could run into the world and face everything that comes.

Piece of love

Darkness settles upon the down,
The last glows bid goodbye before giving way
The give way to the intentions of the light.
That to exist even when thought gone,
For it's ways are so many,
It plays with the eyes of the world,
Invisible but glowing are the stars.

This really does not make any sense at all. if anyone can tell me what I wanted to say.
I'd be thankful!

Why so strange this thing called love,
Been turning to the sky for some courage.
With some simple hope that it won't stop being,
Walked along the path with no doubts,
And then the sky called.
It held something new for me,
Glimmering and shining,
My heart sang for a little moment,
I thought the clouds were cruel,
But there it was,
A little streak across the greatness,
It looked like my love,
The sky and those clouds have been conspiring,
They couldn't bring my love to me,
But they stole a bit of the moon,
And there! It lifted my heart to see a it,
They had shaped my moon inside an innocent cloud.

Darkness settles upon the down,
The last glows bid goodbye before giving way
The give way to the intentions of the light.
That to exist even

Who knows that heart?

It's who I used to love,
I don't remember the love,
My head remembers the days,
But my heart has forgotten the aches,
It has no memory of pains,
But I know of the steps it takes,
Always away,
It won't settle down,
And now no light and no dark nights would make it move,
I know not what guides the heart,
But it ain't the love it used to have,
It ain't the pain it could suddenly remember,
Slightly confused, I have enquired the mind,
But we have found no clue at all.
