Life is a Savage Garden

welcome

Greetings to all the beautiful people around! Here are tales of a garden that just happens to be! Presenting the Chronicles of the South, where the stars and the moon dance their way through the Southern Hemisphere. And lines that may come to rhyme to be a poem...

Come love,
Sit by the riverside,
Sit by my side,
Does the sunlight bother you,
Is the wind singing for you,
Tell me love,
What would make you smile,

Where is your light?

I saw you standing there my friend, Playing with something in your hand, I wouldn't have even looked back, Where is your light gone? Is it the world, Or something you have done, Is it me or my heart, It didn't get warm as it used to, Why did your eyes lose their shine, I have enough questions for a life time, Windows have been left opened for some sunshine, Truth be said loud, My own light blinks erratically, and I cannot sing my own songs, Have gone to places beyond the horizon, Silenced all the voices inside the head, Made it through the wonder of new lights, For all those I will see in times to come, Where will your light be, Your eyes used to shine, Your heart used to glow, Will not let my light go.

Spider in the sun

I added some colours to sunshine, Some kind of spider waiting to strike, My own colours didn't suffice, Limitations added and followed simply, Nature of my thoughts seemed to have traits of courage, Somehow pushed by winds, I stayed around and moved with them, I don't even pretend that I have some control, My little spider life has some faith in life, Because I cling on what I meet as the most difficult, I added some colours to the skies, Again my own colours didn't suffice, I need to be the smallest of all, Infused in the very fabric of life, Unstoppable, might be carried from the winds to the clouds, From the rains to the continents unseen, Lands woven by hands full of blood, Where from then, could I steal some colours, To paint my own heart and mind, Colours not met by even the sun, Mighty world, and a poor little spider, Can't even get over his need to cling on, Turn to the sun, Turn to dust, Spread like you're nothing at all, I stand like a spider in the sun.
